With the current energy prices, it is even more important to invest in energy-saving measures. Wetering Potlilium therefore tackles this with both hands. All old fluorescent lamps in the hall have now been replaced by energy-efficient LED variants. After opting for LED lighting in our new greenhouse last year, this fall we also replaced all other lighting in the existing greenhouse with LED. Currently, a large part of the screens has already been replaced by new screens. With three layers we keep the heat inside even better and we reduce the emissions of our LED lighting. A large group will be working on this in the coming month to complete the project. The inside of the greenhouse roof is also sprayed clean under high pressure in order to be able to make optimal use of the sunlight again. This is something we tackle every year in the fall. The latest investment is a new heat buffer. The old horizontal heat buffer, which is now more than 20 years old, is being replaced by a three times larger standing heat buffer.
